Our Magic Sauce
Achieving long-term success (ranking competitively and staying there) actually demands quite a bit of work, including staying up-to-date with Google's often frustrating algorythm changes while staying on point with emerging industry trends. Our exhaustive 10-point process looks something like this:
If you're determined to gain market share for your product or service and you've concluded that digital marketing is where you'll get the biggest bang for your buck (it is), the reality is this: unless you're laser-focused on methodically improving your website's fluency in "Google speak," your product/service's market share will continue to erode relative to those who do (your competition).
Call us--we know SEO!
Original, Quality, and Naturally-flowing Content Matters!
Of all the SEO disciplines, content writing is the one that calls for the least (but is certainly not devoid of) analytical approach, relying instead on a good dose of "feel," or "language art" in putting things together for its effective application. Critically, content must flow naturally, where keywords dovetail into prose that educates, provides insight, and ideally even entertains the reader. Notably, Google's algorythm makes careful note of this interplay.
Alternatively, some SEO agencies have recently turned to A.I. to generate content, whereby they sacrifice natural flow for expediency. Not here. When read with a critical eye, you'll likely be able to tell the difference between machine-written language and human. Should Google's algorithm catch it, your SEO efforts will suffer accordingly. We take no such shortcuts, and take pride in saying we will always approach our writing the old fashioned way--one of the important ways we ad value for our clients.
An important note on ROI: when done properly, your long-term results from best-practices content writing will be more cost-effective than running "pay-per-click" ads (which will fluctuate) or Facebook and Google ads. These add up quickly, and once you stop paying for them, their traffic-driving benefits cease almost immediately. Not so with optimized content.
With SEO, after you make your up-front investment for a professional to write and publish your article or blog post, every click you get from organic search is free. If the content then ranks on the first page of a search engine like Google, it can become a reliable driver of traffic to your site, which in turn will eventually allow you to recover your upfront cost. In marketing-speak, we call this a "no-brainer."
Google's Key Ranking Signal
A backlink is a link that one website gets from another (click here for an example). Backlinks are critical for SEO performance, mainly because Google views them as recommendations, or "votes of confidence" that one site (the referring site) gives another when it links to the target site. This is particularly meaningful if the inbound link comes from an established, authoritative site.
Generally, the more quality (operative word) links a site obtains, the more trustworthy it is perceived to be by Google, and the greater positive affect it will have on SEO efforts. Backlinks accrue to a site over time naturally, but an important component of SEO is the work that is put forth to obtain and maintain them--and one of the optimization elements we excel at.
A word about best practices: unless done properly using only "white hat" techniques, "black hat" link building can land you in trouble with Google and hurt your rank over time. Often, this is how some unscrupulous marketers promise lightning-fast ranking results. Not here. We only use Google-approved white hat techniques to maximize your SEO. This ensures your return on investment won't be a one-time-flash-in-the-pan ranking result and will have a lasting affect on your ranking "stickiness."
